Final equipment selection must be reviewed, recalculated, and approved by a qualified Professional Engineer (PE) who takes responsibility for specific site conditions, local code requirements, and actual manufacturer pump curves (API 610 / ISO 9906).

Water density, saturation pressure, and viscosity equations utilized within this calculator are based on IAPWS-IF97 standards or high-accuracy polynomial approximations valid within 0°C to 250°C. While highly accurate, actual site conditions (fluid purity, chemical treatment additives, dissolved solids) may alter specific physical properties slightly.
